Periodic maintenance and battery replacement

The PNG system

The PNG system requires periodic maintenance on the seals and battery replacement every 3 years. We have full lifetime tracking of all units by serial number. 

The Polycon system

The Polycon system requires periodic maintenance on the handset seals every 2 years and battery replacement every 4 years. The Base station and charger – every 4 years. As the Polycon system has been in service for many years, it is very important to periodically inspect and service the handsets to ensure continued serviceability and to prevent expensive failures due to salt corrosion, seal degradation and water ingress. Service & Repair

Despite the robustness of the system, repairs may still be required – Axnes offer a full repair and service capability on all our products in our approved maintenance department. Please contact the maintenence department by sending an email to: service@axnes.com

Our maintenance department will then get in contact with you as soon as possible. We also like to inform you to always try to send the serial number of the device as well. This can be found on the device itself or in the documents that were delivered with the system.

Warranty & Product registration

All products within the PNG system come with a 1 year warranty period. We will extend your warranty to 2 years, free of charge, if you register your system units online with our registration tool.This gives us insight into what units you use so we can provide optimal support for your intercom system. In addition, we will advise you when the periodic maintenance should be performed.

To enable your free 2 year warranty simply register your intercom system units by sending an email to post@axnes.com. Please include product serial number for this for this purpose. The product serial number can be found on the device itself and in the documents that were delivered with the system.

Axnes always ships the user manuals with the system. However, we realize it is also convenient to access them at any time online.
