In September 2019 Axnes joined the Rescue Swimmers Meeting held in Meriturva, Finland. Here we provided the practical training part of the workshop with clear communication for the rescue swimmers and their crew. Using Axnes' waterproof headset in combination with the MP50 transceiver mounted on the rescue swimmers swim vest, they were able to maintain clear communication with the rest of the crew, such as the pilot and hoist operator. During the Rescue Swimmers Meeting, organized by EURORSA, hoist operators, rescue swimmers and sponsors come together to share their knowledge, experiences and solutions with eachother. Members from different countries from Europe all join up for this event. The next Rescue Swimmers Meeting in 2020 will be held in Portugal.
